We would very much like to hear from you.

Our objective is to reach out to women who have suffered permanent hair loss from their cancer treatment, to those who are worried about the possibility, and to provide information to anyone interested in this adverse side-effect. Maybe you have a family member or friend that's struggling to deal with her hair not growing back as she expected, if that's the case you can point her in our direction.

We are the only website in the world dedicated to PCIA or persistent/permanent chemotherapy-induced alopecia.

We all suffer from this soul-destroying disfigurement so fully understand the feelings of others.

If you have any suggestions or think you can offer this website anything, please do not hesitate to contact us using the above form or email directly at

TAXOTEARS Support Group

We continue to receive emails from women looking for answers and seeking support. The support group that was formed back in  2006/7 and has provided a lifeline for many sufferers of PCIA.

Sadly, due to the current litigation in the USA, law firm Shook, Hard and Bacon working on behalf of Sanofi, took legal action against Google to enable them to gain access to our beloved support group, rendering it not fit for purpose.

Therefore, we had to take the decision to put a hold on new members joining to save their privacy.

We are currently working on a solution and as soon as we have overcome this temporary problem, the support group will resume its objective.
